The goal
Picking out your outfit in the morning takes time. Create an interface that streamlines the process of planning what to wear and transforms what used to be a chore into something more enjoyable.
Research
I have started with the competitor research as well as interviewing some of my friends.
– Downloaded and analyzed top iOS apps in the category
– Skimmed through user ratings and reviews on AppStore
– Conducted casual user interviews with some friends who have similar problem
User Needs
After a quick research phase, I summarized the main user needs.
Sketching
I decided to split the navigation into 5 following sections:
1. Home (Weather forecast, suggested outfits, planned today’s outfit, style tips)
2. Planner (Calendar with planned outfits for the entire month)
3. Virtual closet (Adding items to your closet and organizing them, favoriting or removing outfits)
4. Explore (Shopping for similar outfits, e-commerce integration)
5. Settings (Account, sizes, wardrobe stats, help)
